New York's annual conference and trade show is one of the largest school transportation shows in the nation and we are pleased to welcome you to this year's program!
We are excited by our new location at the ALBANY MARRIOTT on Wolf Road in Albany. Wolf Road is familiar to many of our exhibitors as the location of many NYAPT conferences in years past. We hope you will join us again this year as we celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Yellow School Bus in America.

Our theme for this year, CELEBRATING SAFETY: 75 Years of the Yellow School Bus, is intended to recognize and celebrate the unique place that the school bus plays in our society and in our schools. We look forward to offering you opportunities to get involved in anniversary activities!!
This year’s Trade Show will offer 8x8 and 8x10 booth spaces and several opportunities for ‘end caps’ on certain rows on the show floor. We are going to offer limited exterior display space (See separate explanation about this below).
When you register for a booth, the registration process will advise you as to the number of complementary registrations to which you are entitled as an exhibitor. These are allotted based on the size of the booth and additional registrations can be purchased for an additional fee. The registrations (name badges) are specifically allotted to the company contracting for the booth space and are not transferrable to other companies.
As you register, we will provide you with additional information about phone lines and internet service for the trade show as well as additional equipment and arrangements you will need for your display.
As you register for booth space, keep in mind that NYAPT limits booth registration to Industry Members of NYAPT. We want all who exhibit in our show to be a part of our organization and we thank you for your continued support in this manner.
VENDORS: OUTDOOR DISPLAY SPACE
This year’s Trade and Exhibit Show will have limited opportunities for the display of school buses. We have arranged for such space on the exterior of the Albany Marriott. Exterior display space is available only to PreRegistered exhibitors for an additional fee. If you are interested in reserving exterior display space, please contact Deirdre Murphy at the NYAPT office at 518.463.4937 or email her at membership@nyapt.org to make necessary arrangements.

CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION
It's conference time again and we are planning to bring you a great conference once again this year! As our logo suggests, this year’s conference theme is tied to the fact that 2014 marks the 75th Anniversary of the Yellow School Bus and we are planning events and learning opportunities that commemorate that milestone.
Our new Conference home is a familiar place to our members. We have moved the Conference and Trade Show to the Albany Marriott on Wolf Road in Albany and we are very excited about the new location! All conference events including the Trade Show will take place at the Marriott with the exception of one of our exciting social events. We think you will enjoy the Marriott---it is a well-appointed hotel property with plenty of overnight rooms to accommodate the needs of our attendees.
We are planning on some 32 workshops that are outlined on this informational page and we will be sharing the full conference agenda and guest speakers as they are confirmed and locked in! We are focusing this year on topics related to safety practices, management and efficiency, special needs transportation, security and bullying, among others. We are planning on a strong presence of our state agency partners as well as exciting social events including a Family Picnic!! (More on that later!)
