Drug and Alcohol Reasonable Suspicion Training

The New York Association for Pupil Transportation offers Drug and Alcohol Reasonable Suspicion training as required by FMCSA in accordance with Section 382.603 of federal regulation. The purpose of this training is to enable supervisors to determine whether reasonable suspicion exists to require a driver to undergo testing described in §382.307. Training will include at least 60 minutes of training on alcohol misuse and 60 minutes on controlled substances use (120 minutes total). This training will assist you in making reasonable suspicion determinations for drug or alcohol use by DOT drivers along with recognizing signs of suspicious behavior. A certificate of completion will be issued at the conclusion of training for proof of attendance for FMCSA compliance.
The fee structure is as follows:
NYAPT Members: $75.00
NYAPT Non-Members: $100.00
