208 - Parent, Administrator, Board and Public Outreach:
This four-hour class gives tips on working with the media, school staff, community groups and parents to promote understanding of student transportation issues and needs. Learn how to identify problems and develop appropriate messaging using both time-tested and innovative mediums. This is a valuable course for transportation managers who want to strengthen community relations.

The fee structure is as follows:

NYAPT Members:  $99.00

NYAPT Non-Members:  $125.00

Leadership Development and Certification program participants may attend 208 Parent, Administrator, Board and Public Outreach workshop at no cost.  Through the generous sponsorship of Leonard Bus Sales, Inc., the cost of the program will be covered.  However, the sponsorship does not cover Late Cancellation or No-Show fees, which are the responsibility of the individual.
